The warm festival atmosphere turned the garden of the Major Seminary into a bustling gathering place for young and old alike for three days. At various locations throughout the festival grounds, intimate performances alternated with spectacular productions. The cozy bar and food stands once again formed the beating heart of our festival: a place where people gathered to chat, grab a bite or a drink, and fully enjoy the unique festival atmosphere.
One of the audience favorites was the tent show *Tout Va Hyper Bien* by Collectif Malunés, which sold out three times. With a mix of humor and acrobatics, they took the audience on a heartwarming journey that culminated in a festive finale in which everyone became a participant. Clara Köpf’s *High (on) Fashion* was also a big hit! It was an acrobatic, top-notch performance, after which the artist invited the audience to swap their own clothes. In collaboration with Kringwinkel 't rad and Studio Stik, we also organized workshops on circular fashion at the festival grounds. This gave visitors the chance to explore the show’s theme for themselves and made the focus on sustainability tangible even offstage.
Even after the final performances, the festival grounds remained bustling. The free evening program on the terrace gave each day of the festival its own unique character. The Propere Fanfare set the tone right away on Friday, the circus ball brought visitors together on and off the dance floor on Saturday, and Kelly and Dolly closed out Sunday with an energetic and quirky show. Accessibility also remains a key pillar of Cirque Plus. Thanks to its free programming and open festival format, visitors of all ages and backgrounds were able to experience contemporary circus. In this way, Cirque Plus continues to foster a warm, inclusive environment centered on connection and wonder. Hopefully we'll see you again next year?
